Timing is essential in Newborn Photography. For those sought-after sleepy and curly poses, scheduling your session within the first three weeks of your baby's arrival is ideal. During this period, babies are still very sleepy and can be easily settled into those adorable poses. However, I am experienced in working with babies up to 3 months old, so even if your little one is older than three weeks, we can still create beautiful images that capture their unique personality.

I provide an array of soft wraps, cosy blankets, charming props and delicate accessories to curate beautifully styled Newborn Sessions. From capturing those tiny fingers and toes to showcasing the love and connection between your baby and family, each photograph will be a timeless piece of art treasured for a lifetime!

As an additional touch, I've recently introduced a stunning collection of white classic long vintage dresses for moms to wear during family portraits. This is entirely optional, offering you one less thing to worry about when booking your Newborn Photo Session with me.

What is the best time to schedule a Newborn Photo Session?

The ideal time to schedule a Newborn Session is within the first 21 days of your baby's birth. During this time, they are more likely to sleep deeply and curl up into those adorable poses. Please don’t worry if your baby is slightly older, I am trained to create stunning images for babies up to 3 months of age.

How long does a typical Newborn Session last?

A Newborn Session typically lasts around 2-3 hours. This allows enough time for feeding, soothing your baby and capturing those precious moments.

Do I need to prepare any props or outfits for the session?

No need to prepare anything! I bring a variety of props, wraps, and outfits to style your Newborn Session. However, if you have a special item or outfit you'd like to include in your images, please have it ready before your session starts.

Can parents and siblings be included in the Newborn photos?

Absolutely! I love including parents and siblings in the Newborn photos. It's a wonderful way to capture the special bond and create beautiful family portraits.

What safety measures do you take during the session?

The safety and comfort of your baby are my top priorities. I am trained in Newborn Photography Safety and follow industry best practices. I handle your baby with utmost care and attention at all times.

How far in advance should I book my Newborn Session?

It's best to book your Newborn Session during your pregnancy, ideally in the second or early third trimester. This ensures that I can reserve a spot for you around your due date as my schedule tends to fill up quickly and I can take only a limited number of babies each month.

What happens if my baby is fussy or doesn't cooperate during the session?

Don't worry! It's completely normal for newborns to have fussy moments. I build in extra time during the session to allow for feeding, comforting and soothing. Patience is key and we'll work together to create beautiful images, regardless of your baby's mood.

Can I request specific poses or setups for the Newborn photos?

Absolutely because I want to make sure you LOVE your images. Before the session, we can discuss any specific poses, setups or colour palette you have in mind. I'll do my best to accommodate your requests and create a personalised session that reflects your vision.

What if my baby has any skin blemishes or rashes?

Don't worry about minor skin blemishes or rashes. These can easily be retouched during the editing process. If your baby has any significant skin conditions or concerns, please let me know in advance and we can discuss the best approach for the session.

Can I request black and white images in addition to colour images?

No need to request because you will be provided with your edited images in 7x5 colour prints as well as vintage black and white version prints.

How soon after the session can I expect to see the edited images?

You can expect to receive a sneak peek of edited images within a few days after the session. The full edited gallery will be ready within 3 weeks. I take great care in hand-editing each image to ensure the highest quality.

Will I receive high resolution files on a memory stick?

You will, all packages I offer come with edited high-resolution files which will be saved on my branded memory stick for your safekeeping.

Do you offer print products?

I offer a range of high-quality print products to help you cherish your newborn memories. Pricing details and options will be provided to you before you book your session. You will be able to choose the products that best suit your needs.

What if I need to reschedule or cancel the session?

I understand that unexpected circumstances may arise. If you need to reschedule or cancel the session, please notify me as soon as possible. We can work together to find a new date that works for both of us. Please note that the booking fee (£99) is non-refundable but transferable to a new session date.

Can I purchase a Gift Certificate for my friend or relative?

You certainly can! I offer beautifully presented Gift Certificates.

Do you charge extra for twins or triplets?

I don’t charge extra for multiple newborn babies, but I will require at least one parent to assist me at all times to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the babies.
